Dave looked at Lyn
closely, she wasn’t really his type. He usually went for fair haired women with
long hair and a slim figure. She was nothing like that. She was curvy, had
brown eyes and long brown hair. However, he did like the look of her. She wasn’t
drop dead gorgeous and wouldn’t turn a man’s head, but she was presentable.
Author Update.
After having writers block for a little while, I've managed to get over myself and now have a few things on the go.
I haven't done a Christmas book for a while so what better way to start writing again then to write a nice, cuddly Christmas Romance.
So, I have written the first 400 pages and I'm really getting stuck in. I'm hoping to publish this short story in Novemeber but we'll see. There's always next year. Ho Ho Ho!
Author Update
I've started writing again so that's good but not so good is the fact that Summer is here and I'm enjoying the Sunshine too much.
I've enclosed a small sample of my Viking novel which is being proofread. Good, but like I said, Summer is hindering my performance lol.
Anyway, have a great Summer.
Tethered Love
Darla opened her eyes and went to rub her head but her hands were tethered and she panicked and frantically tried to free herself.
‘Stop that,’ somebody whispered by the side of her. It was her cousin Horsa.
‘Don’t draw attention to yourself, any little thing annoys them.
Be quiet.’
‘Your bleeding, what’s happened.’
‘Shut up! You can’t help me,’ he groaned.
Darla looked across the room, then cried out in despair when she saw Alta lying naked on the floor. Tears streaming down her face Darla nervously shuffled over to her friend who was whimpering. Looking at the bruises and marks on her face she’d been badly beaten and Darla was devastated. Alta had also been sexually assaulted too and suddenly; Darla was afraid for her own safety.
