'Love Grows Weary,' by Susan Williams is now available to buy on Amazon and Smashwords.

Paperback is £6.00 and eBook is £2.99

This Victorian romance follows the trials and tribulations of Nessa as she searches for work in rural England.

All she wants out of life is to have a permanent roof over her head, food in her belly, and a permanent job. Sadly, every time she finds that, it is snatched away from her; not helped by the fact that she can be opinionated.

Nessa knows that she is not the handsomest of women and because of that, finding love is not something she aspires to. However, things change, and she finds herself embroiled in love, heartache, treachery and jealousy.

I had to go and check the spelling of February. Sometimes, words just don't look right. Or it could be my age. It still doesn't look right now lol.

A Word From the Author

I've been writing for over thirty years and it's only over the last few years that I have been putting them on Amazon and Smashwords, so it may seem to some that I am a prolific writer, when in fact, I've been working on some of my novels for years.

I came across another one the other day which I had been working on. The thing is, I had finished it and then after proofreading it, I couldn't publish it, because I'm not sure if I can write certain things, even though it's set in the viking era.

However, while I ponder on it some more, I'll show you the front cover, designed by Dorset artist Stephen Williams. I suppose I could always x rate it, just to make sure, although I'm pretty sure it doesn't need that rating.

Word From the Author

Hi, I hope my readers have had a great Christmas and I wish you all the best for the new year.

I had a great Christmas with my family and am now in the process of re-writing my first novel and turning it into a book as well an eBook. It should be out in February/March sometime.

I'm pleased with the amount of people who are reading my free short story ' Nola.' I'm looking towards doing two more this year, one in the Summer and one in the Winter.

I also have another book on the go that needs it's last proofread, it's a historical romance, that should also be out around February/March.

So, it's all go.
