Gone but not Forgotten 

I have been working on my latest historical novel since last summer but sadly, I've realised, that after proofreading since forever, I am going to have to delete the last half of the book.

I have deleted scenes before, but not half a book. Sadly, there is no structure to it, the timeline is off,

and it's so disjointed, that it cannot be saved.

In fact, I should have done it a long time ago, but it's like saying goodbye to a much loved friend.
